What is The Art Room?
The Art Room is a fun and safe place for kids to learn about and explore art! There is no wrong way to do art, but here kids are taught different styles and techniques so they can have fun with art. The classes take place in a home based studio off the side of our house with its own private entrance. Students learn the fundamentals and then are empowered to express themselves individually. A combination of structure and creativity, always fun!
Meet Annie!
Hi, I’m Annie Saether! I’m originally from Sydney, Australia but first came to Lebanon in 2011 to work at Camp Tadmor, where I met my husband. Fast forward a few years and the two of us moved back to Lebanon from Sydney in 2019, where we now live with our son Ollie! Growing up, I always enjoyed painting and drawing but I started attending art classes at a young age and this is what helped me to become more comfortable and confident as an artist. These classes brought me so much joy that I was encouraged to create something similar for the community of Lebanon. I’m excited to get the chance to share the joys of creating new and fun things with your young artists!
